To Go Pizza™
Six categories. Six slices. A report card that recognizes improvement.
Policy updated .
A review records one customer's experience. Our report card records six aspects of a visit. Planned improvement tracking will also show evidence that a pizzeria has improved — without rewriting history.
The review form now includes all six categories below. Existing reviews retain their original overall rating. Automatic improvement tracking is not active yet; original ratings remain unchanged.
Each category is rated from 1 to 6, shown with a whole-pizza indicator divided into six sections. Six means a perfect experience in that category. Rate only what you experienced; a category you cannot judge can be left unrated.
Later verified perfect reviews will contribute to the oldest unfinished review in the same category. A perfect pizza-quality rating cannot improve a service score. Each qualifying review will count once in that category; after the oldest review reaches 6/6, credit will move to the next oldest eligible review.
For example, a service review originally rated 4/6 will need two later verified service reviews of 6/6 to earn an improved 6/6. The original 4/6 rating and comments will remain visible beside the improvement indicator.
We are finalizing the improvement rules before activating this feature. No review scores are being upgraded automatically yet.
Each published review keeps its submission date and time, displayed in UTC. Only qualifying reviews submitted after that original review will count toward its improvement, and each must be verified. Earlier reviews cannot be used to repair a later low score.
The improvement indicator will show the date and time each earned improvement is recorded. The supporting reviews will retain their own dates and times, so readers can follow the progress. Displayed timestamps will include the time zone.
A category awarded 6 out of 6 from the beginning uses green and is labeled Originally perfect. An earned 6 out of 6 will use a distinct teal color and an Improved label. Labels and numbers will explain the difference too, so nobody has to rely on color alone.
Members currently need a confirmed email address and a contact phone number to submit a review. Reviews wait for human approval before publication. Phone numbers are never displayed publicly.
A 1- or 2-slice score in any category requires the reviewer's phone to be verified before publication. An administrator must also confirm they have checked the customer's experience before publishing category ratings. An account's verified email or phone alone does not verify the review. Only individually verified reviews will be eligible for future improvement credit. A low score does not disappear simply because an owner disagrees.
Google's star ratings and To Go Pizza's member ratings are separate scores. Paid Featured placements are labeled. Buying a promotion does not buy a better review, change a customer's rating or earn improvement points.
